The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary are advising business owners, of fraudulent American currency circulating throughout the province of Newfoundland & Labrador.
On June 14, 2010, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary received several complaints of fraudulent American bills in the St. John’s area. The Economic Crime Unit has been working with the RCMP in relation to this investigation and it has been determined that the counterfeit twenty dollar American bills are in circulation throughout the entire province.
