Investigators from the Homicide Bureau have made an arrest and have obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a second man wanted in connection to the murder of a Mississauga teen.

On Saturday, July 3, 2010, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the victim, 17 year-old Adrian DUCAS, was at the Malton Community Centre, located on Morning Star Drive. At this time, several men entered the community centre, where there were two basketball games being played. Following their arrival, Adrian DUCAS was fatally shot.

On Friday, July 9, 2010, Maurice RAPHAEL, a 23 year-old man from Scarborough, was arrested for First Degree Murder. Maurice RAPHAEL will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday, July 10, 2010, where he will be formally charged with First Degree Murder.

Investigators have also obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant for First Degree Murder, for Christopher RAPHAEL, a 20 year-old man of no fixed address.

Christopher RAPHAEL is described as male, black, 5’ 7” tall, weighing 160 lbs, with brown eyes, black hair in cornrows and is clean shaven. Investigators are actively seeking out

Christopher RAPHAEL’s whereabouts and are urging him to contact his lawyer and make arrangements to turn himself in.

Anyone with information on the location of Christopher RAPHAEL is urged to contact police immediately and not approach him, as he is armed and should be considered dangerous.
