District 4 RCMP are investigating a house fire that claimed the life of a 55 year-old Pointe-du-Chêne resident.
On Friday, July 30, 2010 shortly before 10:30 pm, District 4 RCMP and the Shediac Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Pointe-du-Chêne Road in Pointe-du-Chêne.
Francis Belliveau, a 55-year-old-man and lone resident was found deceased in his home.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 to determine the cause of death.
Foul play is not suspected at this time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
