On Saturday July 19, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m. a motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Pillette Road and Seminole Street. Investigation has revealed that a 64 year old female pedestrian was crossing Pillette Road from the North East corner of the intersection walking Westbound. A silver Chrysler 300 that was East on Seminole Street turning North on Pillette Road struck the pedestrian.
The female pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance with life threatening injuries. Police were notified Sunday July 20, 2014, in the morning, that she had succumbed to her injuries.
The 79 year old driver of the Chrysler is charged with Careless Driving.
