Montreal police have announced to be looking for a woman who allegedly shocked commuters by plucking and eating a raw bird while aboard a moving subway train. A video of the scene was captured by a disgusted passenger in the metro, who posted it later on YouTube and reported that the incident took place on July 1.

The disturbing video shows a young woman seated in the metro car wearing a bikini top and miniskirt. The women can be seen leaning over a plastic bag and taking small items out of it while several passengers walking walk away quickly with looks of shock on their faces. The man holding the camera can be heard saying “I’m going to vomit,” and a short while later he adds “and she’s eating it! She’s eating it!”

A spokesperson for Montreal Police, Manuel Couture, confirmed that the department is looking for the woman, although her face is not visible in the alarming video shared on the internet. Couture alleged that “we’ll start by finding her, then doing an interview with her,” adding that “then we’ll see if we’ll go for psychiatric care, criminal (charges), or both.” Couture confessed that there is no specific law that abstains citizens from plucking and eating a raw bird in the metro, but highlighted that the woman may still face criminal charges because “given that it visibly upset people, we consider it to be disturbing the peace.”
