On Wednesday, July 23, 2014, members of the Sex Crimes Child Exploitation Section executed a warrant in the Lake Shore Boulevard West area.
It is alleged that:
– a man was responsible for luring a child over the internet
– the man was making, accessing, possessing and making available child pornography over the internet
James “Jim” Vanderberg, 57, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) five counts of Make Child Pornography
2) Possession of Child Pornography
3) Accessing Child Pornography
4) Make Available Child Pornography
5) Luring a Child under 16 years
He appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, 2 p.m.
Police believe there may be other victims.
It is further alleged that he has used the following user names and email addresses:
