On February 9, 2011 at approximately 1:40 pm, two males entered a residence in the 10000 block of Imperial Street. The suspects made off with several thousand ounces of silver bullion that is estimated at being worth approximately $750,000.

The occupant of the residence received several bruises while the suspects were attempting to obtain the silver. The victim believes the suspects may have been wearing a uniform. "Police are in the preliminary stages of investigating this incident," said Cst. Tracy Wolbeck. "We are hopeful that given the time of day, someone saw something and can give us some helpful information." The suspects do not appear to be known to the victim.

The two males are described as being Caucasian, medium build, both in their early 30’s, dark hair with facial hair. The suspects may have been associated to a white Sedan type vehicle, possibly either a Toyota Camry or Pontiac G6.
