Two youths try to hang a dog from a basketball hoop, Sudbury

g180 At approximately 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 15th 2011, Greater Sudbury Police attended the area of Sudbury Secondary School, 85 Mackenzie St., after receiving a report that 2 youth were trying to hang a dog by its leash from a basketball net on school property. The youths ran off with the dog when they were detected by a school staff member. They were last seen running towards Lansdowne St. Police checked the area, however; the youths and the dog were not located.

The youths are both described as being male, approximately 13 to 14 years of age. One of the youth was wearing a brown bomber style jacket. The other youth was wearing a red hat.

The dog is described as being small, brown in colour, with some black and white on it as well. The leash was very short in length.
