Monday at 11:25 a.m., the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team located the body of missing ATV operator from yesterday evening’s incident. The victim has been identified as James William Stanley KENNEY, age 24, of Oak Park, Shelburne County.

Sunday evening, at approximately 8:30 p.m., two males on an ATV broke through the ice of Oak Park Lake as they were attempting to cross the body of water. One male, age 15, was rescued from the water and a search commenced for the second male involved. The 15 year old rescued male was transported to Yarmouth Regional Hospital were he was treated and released.

The incident is still under investigation by the Barrington RCMP and no charges are pending.
