This Tuesday Imran Khan, the chief of Tehreek-e-Insaf, announced this Tuesday that he is going to celebrate this Friday as ‘Go Nawaz Go’ day. He said that change can be seen the way the passengers threw out the parliamentarians and the way three IGs stood against unlawful orders.
Imran Khan also gave the example of David Cameron adding that this is how a leader of a nation should live, caring about the taxes of the people of his nation. He said the government is answerable to the question that why did they increase the electricity bills. This is the reason why he has asked for the ‘civil disobedience movement’ because the taxes are not used for the people of this country. He said that a poor farmer or a person doing a job and supporting his family would not be able to pay these ever rising bills.
He said circular debt is rising, load shedding has not decreased, then where have all the tax payments gone? They have been stolen by these leaders and ministers, he stated. He said that Friday will be celebrated as ‘Go Nawaz Go’ day and on that day he will bring his electricity bill and burn it in front of the crowd. He also thanked all those who gave donations so he could continue the azadi march. He also gave a special thanks to the social media workers of PTI who are sending images and spreading the awareness amongst the Pakistanis. He ended his speech challenging the Prime Minister to declare all his assets.
