Toronto Marlies visit The Hospital for Sick Children

A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies will be participating in their annual visit to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) on December 9, 2009 beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Who: Toronto Marlies players and team mascot Duke the Dog

What: Members of the Toronto Marlies will play bingo with the patients.

Where: The Hospital for Sick Children

This event marks the official launch of an ongoing partnership between the SickKids Foundation and the Toronto Marlies. A patient ambassador from SickKids will be at the Marlies home game on December 13 for a ceremonial puck-drop.

The Marlies continue their four-game homestand on Friday night against the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers, at Ricoh Coliseum with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday’s game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies regular season games on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
