On Friday August 10 2012, the London Olympics 2012 Men’s football Bronze Medal match will be played between South Korea and Japan at the Millennium Stadium.  South Korea was defeated very comprehensively in the Olympic semi-final by Brazil, while Japan’s gold medal dreams were crushed by rivals Mexicans. Now, according to the game format two losing teams will play with each other to decide about the bronze medal. It was in 1968 when Japan won their last gold medal.

South Korea secures a world rank of 29 has produced great attacking young players.
Probable South Korean line-up for match includes Lee; Oh, Yun, Kim Y, Hwang; Ki S, Kim B, Koo J, Ji D; Kim H, Park C 

Japan currently ranked as 22 and has formed many strong and talented players along the years. The Japanese line up likely to play include: Gonda; Tokunaga, Sakai, Yoshida, Suzuki; Ohgihara, Higashi, Yamaguchi, Kiyotake; Otsu, Nagai 

Both teams had performed well throughout the tournament, with South Korea on an unbeaten 14-game win before to their loss to Brazil by 3-0, while Japan had won every game this summer – and were yet to forfeit  before their 3-1 defeat to Mexico in the semi-finals.
