In its long-awaited return to Toronto, Tel Avivs acclaimed Batsheva Dance Company, co-founded by Martha Graham, presents an electrifying new, full-length work choreographed by the companys Artistic Director, Ohad Naharin. Rooted in the language of Gaga, a revolutionary form of dynamic expression developed by Naharin, the work juxtaposes explosive, frenetic bursts of energy with graceful, tender, lyrical passages in configurations that range from solos and duets to group formations as precise as any chorus line.
