There’s some pretty tricky steps in today’s “commitment tango” but playwright Joanne Mosconi has them all mapped out in You Love That I’m Not Your Wife, a new comedic drama. Five women and five men are living in Los Angeles for ten different reasons. But they all have one thing in common: they crave love … but look for it in all the wrong places. Pretty much every single possible partner you can imagine is featured in this sharply written play from the author of Marry, F*** or Kill, including sugar daddies, Italian dreamboats, non-boyfriend boyfriends, distracted husbands … and, yes, there’s even a boy toy. Mosconi directs at the Avery Schreiber Playhouse.
