About the exhibition:

Using the unruly archive of popular photography as their source, Jackson Klie and Michelle OByrne deconstruct the idea of the photographic corpus through an installation of collage and sculpture. Depictions of the body within popular culture and science are found, reworked, and re-presented within a critical context. Through a series of gestural interventions, the artists make reference to their own bodies by transforming and interacting with the photographic surface, highlighting the contingent nature of identity and photography.
