PETA finally got something right. They demonstrated in front of the Fortnum & Mason store in London to protest the store selling foie gras, which involves cruelty to animals. Other UK stores have stopped selling the liver pate and it’s banned in many countries. Geese and ducks are cruelly force fed large amounts of grain and fat to cause their livers to swell up. Bringing this atrocity to the attention of the public certainly benefits animals more than those naked celebrity billboards that PETA is so fond of.
