Leaders of various religions are gathering on June 16 in Nevada (USA) for a multi-faith service to pray for Nobel laureate Nelson Mandela who is struggling in a South Africa hospital.

Jointly organized by Rehoboth Holy Temple (RHT) of Church of God in Christ and Universal Society of Hinduism, it will include prayers and reflections by Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist leaders.

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who is one of the organizers, says that various religions are joining in prayer for Mandela’s recovery, who set a milestone for the world with his efforts in pluralism, common ground, equality, color-blindness and coexistence.

RHT Bishop Luther J. DuPree Junior will preside.
