Sekeje Moses, Secretary for the Ugandan Community in Jonglei said that most Ugandans feel secure when they see the presence of the UPDF soldiers within the town.

“Some of the members are sifting to Juba and others are going back to Uganda and I think we are scared as a community,” Moses told Gurtong on Friday.

“Even you see this compound of UNIMISS they were not moving with big vehicles but now, even the tanks are coming out.”

“For Us as Ugandan we are too much scared because of the situation.”

Some local residents say the presence of the UPDF in Bor gives the people assurance of security.
