The biological mother of baby Falak, Munni has been found by Delhi Police and brought to Mumbai this morning where she will be made to take the DNA test.
According to the police authorities, they found the mother in the Rajasthan area almost a week ago and arranged for her to be brought to Delhi. Munni is a 22 year old claiming to be the mother of Falak. Investigations revealed that Munni came to the house of a woman called Lakshami about six months with her daughter Falak and disappeared a few days later leaving Falak behind. Upon further investigation Munni informed that her husband forced her into the prostitution business.
The tragic story of baby Falak caught the attention of people all over the globe when she was brought to AIIMS by a bruised teenage girl in a rotten condition on 18th of January. Falak had quite a few head injuries, bruises all over her body, with several fractures and human bite marks. The teenage girl who brought Falak to hospital claimed to be her mother initially but later admitted that she was given the baby girl by a Rajkumar and she herself was badly tortured.
Four suspected people have been arrested in the process of investigation. However, the main suspect has still not been caught.
