Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has revealed that she met with British PM, Theresa May, at a Brexit summit on Downing St. and it mostly involved “very frank exchange of views.” Ms Sturgeon unveiled that the PMO warned that the devolved administrations must not try to undermine the UK’s negotiating position and referred to the warning as “nonsense” as she labelled the talks between the PM and the leaders of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, as “deeply frustrating”.

Ms Sturgeon mentioned in her remarks that “we had a very frank exchange of views. I don’t mind admitting large parts of the meeting were deeply frustrating,” as she confessed that “feisty” was a fair way to sum up the atmosphere at the meeting. Ms Sturgeon added that the notion of undermining Britain’s EU withdrawals deal is baseless as she explained that “I think that is nonsense, and it is not what anybody is seeking to do.”

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Gibraltar, Fabian Picardo, has alleged that work being done by Gibraltar ahead of Brexit is “a marathon, not a sprint” and insisted that “important progress” was being made in talks with the UK. The CM responded to “ill-informed” claims in Spanish media which alleged that Gibraltar has been sidelined because it was not invited in the meeting between Mrs May and the devolved administrations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Picardo pointed out that the head of Gibraltar’s Brexit preparations, deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia, was already in London since yesterday for another round of talks with senior officials.
