U.K. Prime minister, David Cameron has not been convinced with the Lord Justice Leveson’s press law recommendation. That has exposed divisions in the coalition government, as Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, wants a new statutory control law introduced without any delay.
A negative reaction from U.K. newspapers has been witnessed on Friday against Lord Justice Leveson’s recommendations related to reforming the press behavior by introducing statutory regulatory laws.
Lord Justice Leveson’s 2,000-page report into press ethics, published on Thursday, found that press behaviour was “outrageous” and “wreaked havoc with the lives of innocent people”.
The press itself is aware of the flaws of existing self- regulation and the need for the industry to produce something better, but still opposes the idea of a statute to guarantee its independence.
According to the report’s recommendation, Ofcom – the communications regulator, be a statutorily accredited overseer of the regulator’s independence has united the press against the Leveson proposals.
Mr. Cameron while speaking in the Commons has said he broadly welcomed Lord Justice Leveson’s principles to change the current system but that he had “serious concerns and misgivings” over bringing in laws to underpin any new body.
Culture Secretary, Maria Miller has also joined Mr. PM in his stance and said “the gauntlet has been thrown down” to newspapers to outline how they would set up tough self-regulation instead.
Labour leader Ed Miliband is also supportive of a new press law.
Mr. Cameron has ordered new draft press laws to show the coalition how they could put a “subtle muzzle” on freedom of the press. The legislation is thought to be ready in a fortnight.
The prime minister believes this demonstration process will only serve to highlight how difficult it is to try to legislate in a complex and controversial area while Labour and the Lib Dems think it will demonstrate the opposite.

TV media and newspapers will never tell you that an Israeli firm had placed the explosives that brought down the 3 buildings in NY on 9/11. ICTS was the only security firm in charge for the twin towers and building 7 (most people still do not know about this building that fell without being hit by any plane or other). ICTS was also the security company in charge for all airports that had allowed the highjack planes on 9/11 to depart. The work force of ICTS was the only one people to have access at night inscomment_IDe the 3 buildings and to allow Israeli agents to place those explosives inconspicuously before 9/11. Israeli agents were in fact arrested nearby on 9/11 transporting large amount of explosives in a white van (Chevrolet 2000) but they were later released by the Bush administration. Not as a coinccomment_IDence, the same day, on 9/11 2001, and at the same time a CIA operation called Able Danger, was reproducing a military exercise that was supposed to mimic an attack by few planes crashing on buildings. Now our thought goes to George W. Bush, son of a former head of CIA, George H. Bush, who still holds the line in that agency. But all this was never reported by the media, in the hands of Zionists. The future of the World depends on what we make of 9/11. Once the masses will have understood what happened on 9/11 it will take a certain change from all people to go on and coexist with this newly accepted reality.
