The Durham Regional Police are investigating after a body was discovered in Oshawa, at a north end apartment building, last night.
On Tuesday July 12, 2011, in the evening hours, a citizen notified the police about a body in an apartment.
Members from the Central East Criminal Investigations Bureau, the Homicide Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit responded and are currently investigating.
The deceased has yet to be positively identified and the incident is being investigated as a sudden death at this point. The deceased is believed to be a female and further updates will be provided as they become available.
