Conservative Tim Hudak and Democrat Andrea Horwath are to hunt for votes in Toronto on Day 9 of the election campaign. Hudak plans to target Richmond Hill, Unionville and Markham at different occasions. While Horwath will stop at Ryerson University and Queen’s Park in Toronto and then head for a convention in Brampton.

In addition, Dalton McGuinty will visit the Bombardier site in Thunder Bay and Essar Steel in Sault Ste. Marie before heading to Sudbury.

The final decision would be made on Thursday for the Oct. 6 election. A modest boost in female candidates running for office has been noticed.

Spokeswoman Lesley Byrne said: “Two parties, the Liberals and the NDP, have more than one third female candidates.”

Recently, McGuinty has happened to be the sole proposal for a debate in northern Ontario as the Progressive Conservatives accepted a challenge from the New Democrats to argument in a second debate. Horwath had been insisting for a debate in the north for quite some time alleging that topics like unemployment and the elevated cost of living in that area must be paid attention.

On the other hand, Leader Hudak is out assuring to put Ontario’s sex offenders registry online if he is selected to govern. He said: “I would put public safety for our kids ahead of the right to privacy of child predators.”
