Calgary police investigate an attempted female sexual assault

The Calgary Police Service is investigating an attempted sexual assault that occurred on Wednesday.
 
On Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at approximately 10 p.m., a woman exited a bus at 52 Street and Madigan Drive N.E.
 
A man left the bus at the same time, walking behind the woman. A short time later the man grabbed her, said he had a knife and that he wanted to have sex with her.
 
The victim managed to get away, running across the street, while the culprit fled in a different direction.
 
The suspect was later seen in a nearby Burger King restaurant, where he created a disturbance. He then attempted to jump onto the counter, and unsuccessfully tried to rob the restaurant. He then fled the area.  
 
The suspect is described as Aboriginal, 5’ 6” tall, with a slim build and chubby face. He was wearing a baggy, black sweater with a hood and a baseball cap.
 
Update: The Calgary Police Service has issued warrants for a man wanted in connection with sexual assault. Police are seeking public assistance in locating Rance Joseph BEARHAT, 19, of no fixed address. BEARHAT is facing charges of robbery, assault, sexual assault and two counts of uttering threats.
