Calgary police continues to search for missing man Ryan Lane

The Calgary Police Service continues to seek public assistance to locate a man who has been missing since early February.
Ryan Lane, 24, was last seen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, near the 5200 block of Country Hills Boulevard N.W. Lane is Caucasian, 5’9” tall, 150 pounds with a slim build. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He also has a tattoo on his right upper arm.
Police believe Lane has met with foul play and the Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
Investigators have identified an area west of Beiseker as a possible last known location of Lane. Police are currently searching the area south of Highway 72 between Range Road 263 and Range Road 265 in attempt to locate him.
On Sunday, May 13, 2012, approximately 80 Calgary Search and Rescue volunteers will join the CPS K-9 Unit, Mounted Patrol Unit, HAWC and the Calgary Fire Department to search the roadways, land and water masses for Lane.
Investigators have identified suspects they believe are involved in Lane’s disappearance. Those suspects have been unco-operative with police.
On Sunday, May 13, 2012, the Calgary Police Service, Calgary Search and Rescue, K-9, HAWC and the Calgary Fire Department searched an area south of Highway 72 between Range Road 263 and Range Road 265, in an attempt to locate Ryan Lane.

An extensive search of an area west of Beiseker this past weekend resulted in nothing of evidentiary value in the investigation into a missing Calgary man.
Update: 

In response to media inquiries, the Calgary Police Service is issuing the following statement in relation to the investigation into the disappearance of Ryan Lane:
 
“There are no new developments in the disappearance of Ryan LANE. We have confirmed in the past that we do have suspects in this file, however the Calgary Police Service does not – and will not – publicly identify suspects in any investigation.”
 
No further comment is available.
