The RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit is looking for public assistance in solving the disappearance of Rhonda Joyce Louise Wilson who was last seen in August, 2002.
On August 10th, 2002 Rhonda’s husband reported to New Minas RCMP that she left their Kentville home on August 7th at approximately 9:30 p.m. to go for a walk and did not return. Wilson, a mother of three, was 31-years-old at the time of her disappearance.
During the course of the investigation there have been several possible sightings of Wilson; however, none were ever substantiated. To date, there has been no activity on her bank accounts.
Rhonda’s disappearance was added to Nova Scotia Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program in April 2010.
RCMP are asking the public to come forward with any information that could assist investigators with the investigation. The Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit continues to actively investigate Rhonda’s disappearance in the hopes of bringing the person (s) responsible for her disappearance before the courts.
