On Sunday March 31st 2013, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section charged an Ottawa man with one count of Sexual Assault and one count of Forcible Confinement.
Thirty-eight-year-old Beau Byford, of Ottawa, was charged after a complaint was received by police on March 31st, 2013. The incident occurred at the shopping mall at 2016 Ogilvie Road on Friday March 29th 2013, during daylight hours. The incident involved a single male assailant and a female victim.
The Ottawa Police Service is appealing to the public, as we believe there were people who were in the area and may have witnessed the incident.
