Police has confirmed to have found the cell phone of a Hamilton who went missing after taking two alleged buyers of his truck for test drive, i.e. a black 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel pickup with the Ontario licence number 726 7ZW, he had advertised for private sale. Addressing a press conference on Friday morning, police reported that Timothy Bosma’s phone was found in an industrial area in west Brantford the night before, which is where the three were headed on test drive.

It was clarified that no other items were recovered from the area, though police confirmed to have traced the cellphone which was allegedly used by the suspects to contact Bosma. Investigation revealed that the two suspected buyers who visited Bosma also test drove truck of another man in Etobicoke on Sunday. Police confirmed that the two suspected men went for a test drive with that men and returned without incident.

Det. Sgt. Matt Kavanagh informed that “he thought it was odd, because of the size of the vehicle.” He added that “it’s more of a business vehicle than a personal vehicle. Fortunately for this person, he’s a very large individual. I think he would have overpowered the both of them. I think that was his advantage.” Kavanagh stated that police is seeking information from the public about the two suspects. In response to an inquiry from media regarding asking if they believed Bosma was alive, he stated that “we always have to hold out hope.”
