Edmonton police search for missing girl Addison Lindberg

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an 11-year-old girl who has been missing since Monday evening.

Addison Lindberg was reported missing to police by her mother at 9:21 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014.  She was last seen in the company of friends in the late hours of Monday, June 9, into the early hours of Tuesday, June 10, 2014.  It is believed that Lindberg’s last known location was in the area of 66 Street and 120 Avenue in northeast Edmonton.

There are no indications to suggest foul play, however, due to Lindberg’s age there are concerns for her well-being.  Police continue to actively search for the missing girl at schools, youth shelters, parks, malls and Edmonton Transit stations in the area.

Addison Lindberg11, is described as being an Aboriginal female, 5’6”tall, weighing approximately 130 lbs., with brown eyes, and dyed purple hair in a ponytail.  She may be wearing a black hoodie with a ribcage design on the front and scales on the hood, blue jeans, and black Vans brand sneakers.

Update: The Edmonton Police Service has located the 11-year-old girl who was recently reported missing in northeast Edmonton. The girl was located safe and sound, and was returned to family members.
