On Saturday, October 16, 2010, the 2010 Canada’s Walk of Fame event will take place at the Canon Theatre, 244 Victoria Street.

Road closures:

All four lanes of Yonge Street, between Dundas Street and Dundas Square, will be closed from Friday, October 15, 2010 at 7 p.m. to Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:59 p.m.

Traffic diversions north and south of the closure will start at Adelaide Street to the south and Gerrard Street to the north. In addition, both northbound lanes of Yonge Street will be closed between Queen Street and Shuter Street on Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Shuter Street, between Victoria Street and Yonge Street, will be closed on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Access to the Eaton Centre parking garage during this time will be from northbound Yonge Street.

Prior to 2 p.m., traffic seeking access to the parking garage at Yonge Street/Shuter Street will be directed to use Shuter Street. At 2 p.m., traffic seeking access to the parking garage will be allowed to use Yonge Street northbound.

Paid duty officers at Shuter Street will assist vehicles making the left turn into the parking garage.
