Aiming to win the series, Australia will face Pakistan in the second ODI match at Dubai on Friday.

After winning the only Twenty20 match in a convincing manner, the Australian team have proved that they are as much of danger in the 50-over format by gaining a 93-run victory over the hosts. In the beginning when the tourists opted to bat first, Aaron Finch was dismissed for a platinum duck. However, it didn’t affect their game strategy as Steve Smith scored his maiden ODI century. Finch would look to attack the Pakistani bowlers this time to regain his confidence.  The likely Aussies line-up will include: 1 Aaron Finch, 2 David Warner, 3 Steven Smith, 4 George Bailey (capt), 5 Glenn Maxwell, 6 Brad Haddin (wk), 7 James Faulkner, 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Sean Abbott/Xavier Doherty, 10 Mitchell Starc, 11 Nathan Lyon.

On the other hands, Pakistan will not lose hope and look to bounce back after failing to deliver in the opening game. Pakistan are without Mohammed Hafeez and the Saeed Ajmal, still the bowling unit did an adequate job to restrict a stable batting squad to 255, But the thing of concern surrounds their inexperienced batting order which was a huge disappointment. The team really need their skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, who scored a duck in opening match, to act as an anchor to guarantee Pakistan have plenty of wickets in hand and they will play full 50 overs to confirm a victory or will fight for it. The probable Pakistani squad will include: 1 Ahmed Shehzad, 2 Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), 3 Asad Shafiq/ Sohaib Maqsood, 4 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), 5 Fawad Alam, 6 Umar Akmal, 7 Shahid Afridi, 8 Anwar Ali, 9 Wahab Riaz, 10 Zulfiqar Babar, 11 Mohammad Irfan.
