Join the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research for a special International Pathology Day edition of Café Scientifique with the Ontario Molecular Pathology Research Network.
Dr. John Bartlett, from the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, and Dr. Michelle Downes, from Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, will take you into a world of pathology beyond crime scene investigation and into puzzles more complex than an escape room. They will talk about the future of pathology and how this is changing the face of medicine and why a pathologist is considered ‘the doctor’s doctor’.
Café Scientifiques are informal discussions (not lectures!) about scientific subjects. Cafés provide insight into health-related issues of popular interest to the general public, and in turn provoke questions and provide answers. Cafés are where you can have a drink and interact with experts in a given field at a café, a pub or a restaurant.
Seating is limited. Register today!
