Sondheim’s Company — A Musical Comedy Look at Love & Commitment
Harter Hall (Woodland Hills, CA)

Comprised of a series of comic vignettes, Stephen Sondheim’s (Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods) musical comedy Company was the winner of multiple Tony Awards in both its original staging and Broadway revivals. It’s Bobby’s 35th birthday and he’s still single, unable to commit to much of anything. His best friends, five married couples, and his three girlfriends gather to celebrate. Reflecting on connections and commitments, marriage and contemporary relationships, Company includes the hit song “Being Alive,” plus “Another Hundred People” and “The Ladies Who Lunch.” The original 1970 Broadway production received 14 Tony Award nominations, winning six of them — including Best Musical.
