Ever since we read about Katy Perry’s new gated compound in Richard Mineards’ column in the Montecito Journal, we’ve been puzzled by her property choice. “California Gurl” Katy bought the 4 acre property on Mulholland Drive fromAileen Getty for 11.5 million dollars. The land has TWO very different houses. One is a 3000 square foot mid-century modern home with walls of glass, and the other house is quite the opposite- a 3900 sq ft Spanish style house. The huge property has two pools and two guest houses. The question is: Which house will Katy live in? And who will occupy the other one? Hmmmm…
