To be honest, we’d have zero interest in seeing the new Star Wars movie if we didn’t know Carrie Fisher was reprising her Princess Leia role thirty seven years later. Don’t bother asking her about the plot – she’s sworn to secrecy. But she’s full of jokes – she said “I begged them to put my bunshairstyle back in grey like Granny Leia.” Carrie says that this time she wants to get her character’s accent right – less British. “I looked pretentious faking the accent – it came and went.” According to her mother Debbie Reynolds, Carrie was inspired to lose a lot of weight for her return as Leia so she’ll look good in those costumes.
