Karan Johar has been keeping quite busy at the India Economic Summit 2017 organized by World Economic Forum. The three-day long summit came to an end on Friday, October 6. Karan Johar was on three panels on three different days as he talked about business, filmmaking and changing its own narrative.
On Friday, Karan Johar was in a joint conversation with Smriti Irani, Minister of Textiles, Information and Broadcasting of India as they talked about the changing mental models within the media and entertainment industries. Smriti Irani also mentioned, during the panel, that she had appeared on Karan Johar’s show Koffee with Karan during her acting days. Post the panel, Smriti grabbed a selfie with Karan and captioned it, “The #karanjohar selfie.”
Interestingly, the event also saw other B-Town ladies such as Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt in attendance at different panels.
