Simple but always significant – Deepika Padukone is such a delight! Deepika Padukone has traversed a long way from her modelling days to garnering global accolades in 2017. Leaving no stone unturned to claim what’s rightfully hers; Deepika Padukone clinched the numero uno position, once again with her powerful performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmaavat that also raked the big moolah. Additionally, her recent experimental streak on fashion and its varied chapters met with some backlash from the fashion pundits. But taking it all in her stride, here’s how she threw us a curveball.

Shinning bright in a Falguni and Shane Peacock white gown featuring a dangerous plunge, balloon sleeves, a metallic belt and a trail, Deepika was certainly a vision to behold.

Flaunting décolletage with that stunning plunge, we loved Deepika’s subtle power play and her affair with the dramatic sleeves. Allowing her dress to take centre stage, keeping the other elements muted but visibly distinct, Deepika aced the red carpet sartorial vibe. She will also be seen fulfilling her commitments as the brand ambassador for the cosmetic giant, L’Oreal at the Cannes International Film Festival 2018.
