Dancing Uncle aka Sanjeev Srivastava recently went viral on social media followed by a dance video that gained momentum on YouTube. The video features him dancing to the iconic number of ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’ [Khudgarz] which was originally picturized on Govinda. Now, when the veteran 90s superstar was asked if he has come across the song, Govinda was all praises for Sanjeev Srivastava’s performance.

For the uninitiated, this video of Sanjeev Srivastava features this Electronics Professor, showing off his impressive dance moves at a sangeet ceremony. Recent reports suggest that Sanjeev was attending the marriage rituals of his brother-in-law at Gwalior when this video was taken. While it is created furor on the internet, it has also left many Bollywood celebrities who are appreciating the spirit and dance moves of Srivastava.

Govinda, who was equally thrilled to see Sanjeev dance to the tunes of his song, stated that it was his uninhibited dance performance that won many hearts. The actor believes that not being conscious whilst dancing is the key to a good performance and Sanjeev’s joy is reflective in his moves. The veteran actor went on to add that this tribute given by Sanjeev Srivastav is one of the best he has received till date and such dedications and tributes are the best part of his career.

On the other hand, Srivastav too has mentioned in reports that his inspiration for dancing has always been two iconic actors – Mithun Chakraborty and Govinda.

Besides, Govinda, other actors who have appreciated the dance include Arjun Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and even Raveena Tandon.
