Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas married in a ceremony fit for the royals at the Umaid Bhavan palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and the pictures and videos that are out from the ceremony are nothing short of BREATHTAKING. The two had a big fat Indian wedding complete with a Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony as well as the White Wedding where PC looked like the prettiest bride and Nick, the happiest man in the whole wide world dressed in Ralph Lauren. The festivities did not end there as the two hosted a reception at Delhi the day after. Joe Jonas who was the Best Man at the wedding spoke to Today about the experience of marrying Nick off in the most beautiful wedding ceremony ever!
He said, “Marrying Nick off to Priyanka has just been fantastic. Obviously, this has been one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen and to be part of it was a dream.” He also spoke about the Sangeet ceremony where Priyanka’s bridesmaids reportedly CRUSHED Nick’s groomsmen. Though the Jonas brothers are pop stars, they found it difficult to win against Priyanka Chopra and her gang of gals. He said, “The sangeet’s a beautiful Indian tradition a few days before the wedding where you put on a performance, and they have the most incredible performers in her family. They have a lot of friends and family who are Bollywood stars.” He said, that PC’s fam definitely crushed them!
Joe also gave the Best Man’s toast and nearly blanked out because he was totally overpowered by emotion. He said, “I kinda blacked out for a minute. I was just overwhelmed with emotion. This is my brother, my best friend and to see him marrying his dream girl … there were a lot of tears the whole weekend — and a lot of smiles. I had (the toast) on paper, so that was the most important part.”
