Emraan Hashmi, who is busy with the ongoing shoot of Azhar, recently took time to attend the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons conference. The actor was invited by them to share his eye opening experience and meaningful insights, at their Golden Jubilee celebration.
Emraan was invited as special guest to address the audience on his experience as a parent of a child, who has undergone a major surgical procedure. The conference was attended by over 500 Pediatric Surgeons from India and abroad, including 30 delegates from 10 different countries. Emraan Hashmi's son Ayaan, who is now in remission, was diagnosed with an illness in January last year.
Not too long ago, the star announced his decision to author a book which details about how to cope with the stress of undergoing such a challenging situation. With the book, the actor hopes to provide comfort and guidance to those whose loved ones are battling cancer or a critical illness. At the conference, Emraan Hashmi also spoke about his book for the very first time, discussing its inclusions and chapters to have feedback on it from a medical perspective.
