Shah Rukh Khan refuses to comment on Tanmay Bhats controversial video

Prominent Bollywood personalities have come forward and criticized stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat for his snapchat video wherein he mimicked Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar. Many made it clear that the video was in bad taste and hardly evokes laughter. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan however refused to comment on this issue. When asked by a news channel at the launch of Delhi NCR's KidZania to comment on this controversy, the superstar said, "Main toh inn baaton mein jitna chup rahoon, utna behtar hai."

He opened up about the defeat of his team Kolkata Knight Riders against Sunrisers Hyderabad during the IPL finals on Sunday May 29, 2016. He revealed, "We were in London for the graduation ceremony of my son. We had already planned how to celebrate the victory. Lekin bahut dukh hua. But Sunrisers Hyderabad bowled very well. They won for the first time. Congratulations to them. We have won twice in the past. Next year we will work even more hard. And our team was very balanced this time. I'd like to however add that both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore performed very well in the last 5-6 matches."

SRK just had a release, Fan, that underperformed at the box office, sending shockwaves everywhere. When asked to comment on its box office performance, the superstar said, "Everyone has their own perception of creativity. If I measure it by the amount of money that it mints at the box office, then I'll always feel unsatisfied. I have done many good films and bad films. Some of these bad films have done very well while some very good films haven't. Toh kahin na kahin zindagi mein woh balance ho hi jaata hai. And anyways, as I have always maintained, Fan is a niche film. It has no songs and no heroine. But it's the most important film for me, Aditya Chopra, Maneesh Sharma and everyone else associated with it."

He then opens up about the postponement of Raees from Eid 2016 to Republic Day 2017. Surprisingly, he says that avoiding clash with Salman Khan-starrer Sultan is not the only reason. Says SRK, "While shooting Raees, I got injured and hence, the film got delayed by almost 8-9 months. But we managed to wrap up the film. But we were all hurrying and working at breakneck speed to complete the work. And moreover, Sultan is also releasing on the same day. 2 big films releasing together is not a good idea. And all the people associated with the film are also my friends. Hence, we decided to move. Aur aaj khaali date hi nahin milti yaar! Kyunki pehle announce karni padti hai aur woh aadat hai nahin mujhe. Now 26 January is the date that we have decided to release Raees.
