Suspicious murder of a woman, husband missing

Local police authorities found the dead body of a woman in Hunter Valley early Tuesday morning.

The 43-year-old woman’s dead body was found lying in the shed of a rear at their place in Greta. Authorities have not yet disclosed how the woman died but have marked the death “suspicious” and are starting investigation. The body was found by a relative in the backyard of the house around 9:30 am, who informed the police. The body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem. Detectives from Strike Force Wintervale are awaiting the results of the report. However, they find the husband suspiciously involved and therefore are looking for him.

The husband of the dead woman could not be contacted and has not been seen since the unfortunate death of his wife. Police is suspicious about the husband and are searching for him. A ground and air search for the husband has been initiated.

The police informed that Darren Fishburn is the name of the husband and is 42 years of age. He is a Caucasian with goatee beard, short brown hair, piercing in both ears, and a strong build.

The investigation and the search team are in action hunting for Mr. Darren Fishburn. He is expected to be driving a red Nissan Patrol 1989 model with a New South Wales registration number, YAE-923. Police has requested the neighbors and other people to inform if they find out anything about the missing husband or anything else that might be related to the case.
