“We have fought for this nation to get freedom because the enemies are interested in the resources we have like oil, diamond, gold, wildlife, and many resources like agriculture because our land is a good for cultivation,” he said.

Jamus said that as an artist his performance is always to advise the government of any nation.

“We are like preachers, we preach to the community so that government understand the public,” he said.

Jamus said that the authorities including the governor should give orders to the ministries to make good use of the government resources without corruption.

Jamus said it is time for us to make use of the resources since South Sudanese struggled for freedom and equality of the nation.

He requested the Jonglei State government to struggle in building of our nation and fighting corruption which are hindering development in South Sudan.

“Corruption will destroy systems of government in this nation because if the positions are normally given to the relatives in the ministry then where will the other youths go to be in the government,” he said.

Artist Gun Jamus said that he started his music career in 2008 and will proceed with preaching for peace in South Sudan like he did in 2010 and 2011 when he campaigned for the election and referendum in the new nation.
