The case is instead referred to be sorted out at home after several adjournments by the High Court.
Both parents of the accused and of the girl reached a mutual understanding to discuss the matter at home with the aim that if a resolution is reached, they will then come back to the court and legally dismiss the case.
Speaking to the media, the Headmaster of the school Mr. Alex Kobako said when they received the information, they condemned it and called for an urgent meeting and decided to suspend the teacher without salary until the final resolution from the court.
He said the school will have to terminate the contract of the teacher immediately and the girl will only finish first term examination and the administration will not allow her to continue as she will be a bad example to the rest of the school girls.
He stated that he is in full support of any procedure the court of law will take because the teacher is well informed about the teacher’s code of conduct, adding that this will act as an example to other teachers.
The P5 Pupil however revealed that Mr. Olaya was not her first lover but the third.
Mr. Olaya on the other hand said their relationship with the pupil started since March last year and his intention was to marry her after her studies.
He was accused of sleeping with the girl at his place but he denied it, saying on the fateful day, the girl visited him at 5:00 pm but returned early when many people witnessed.
