During the meeting, parents elected their Executive body members covering the ten counties of Western Equatoria State (WES).

Speaking to the new board of members the elected chairperson Victor Charles said the purpose of this formation of the board members is to strengthen the working relations of the school administration and the parents.

He said a school without a proper administration is a failed school because teachers as well as the students will decide to do what they want.

Victor urged parents to remain close to the school and their children so that they get to know the challenges of the school and forge ways forward.

He also reiterated the need for cooperation between the teachers, parents and the students.

The Secretary for the Association, Mr. Bullen Emmanuel Batavuru, who is the school principal, appreciated the effort of parents who turned up for the meeting.

Relatedly, the Director General of the State Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperatives and Environment, Marcello Constantino during the meeting handed over two wheelbarrows, four forked hoes, two flower cutters, two axes, 40kg of maize seeds, 10kg of bean seeds and vegetable seeds to the administration.

He urged the school to make use of the some Agriculture inputs boost the farming activities in the school.

Agriculture teacher in the school Mr. Candia Joe Stephen thanked the State Ministry for contribution towards the development of Agriculture in the school which he said can enable the school to provide food stuffs for its students and the staff.

This according to Candia will reduce feeding expenses in the school.
