Police continue to investigate death of Donnie William Doucet

On May 5th at 4:07 p.m, Port Hawkesbury RCMP, EHS and fire departments from Port Hawkesbury and Port Hastings responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 19 in Creignish, Inverness County.  As a result, the lone occupant of the vehicle, a 37-year-old Donnie William Doucet from Cheticamp, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
Road conditions were clear at the time.  An RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst was called in to assist in the investigation.  The results of the analysis are not yet known.  The investigation remains ongoing.
