On May 12, 2010, District 4 South East RCMP with the assistance of the J Division Integrated Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Sackville.
During the search, the police discovered electronic images of child pornography. At this point of the investigation there is no indication that any local children were the subjects of the images.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in the home. He has since been released on a number of conditions. The investigation is ongoing.
