Udai Dwivedi charged with sexual assault in Brampton

Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 21 Division are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify any possible victims after the arrest of a 51 year old Etobicoke man.

During a three month period from May to July 2010, the suspect attended the victim’s residence and it is alleged, that on four occasions the suspect sexually assaulted the victim, who is a 31 year old female Mississauga resident.

Victim came forward to police and on August 24, 2010, Udai DWIVEDI, a 52 year old Etobicoke man, was arrested and charged with four counts of sexual assault. DWIVEDI will be making a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 23, 2010.

Officers have concerns that the suspect has assaulted other victims and are urging those who may have been assaulted to contact Police.
