Windsor Police have a man in custody after a woman was sexually assaulted during a photo shoot on the city's east side last week. On June 23 at 9:00 a.m., uniformed WPS officers attended an address in the 1300 block of Lauzon Rd and spoke to a 21 year old female regarding a sexual assault complaint.

The woman advised officers that she had been interested in having some photographs taken of her by a professional photographer. She had viewed some photos posted on a Facebook page by a man claiming to be a photographer. The photographer contacted the woman and they arranged to meet in a parking lot near the closed Montana's Restaurant located at 7470 Tecumseh Rd E. at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

The woman met the man in the parking lot and they walked to the southwest corner of the Montana's where a covered porch is located. The man took several photographs of the woman and then asked her to change into another outfit that she had brought with her. The woman complied while the photographer turned his back to her. After she changed into the second outfit, the man took some more photos, then approached the woman and began to kiss her neck and fondle her breasts. The woman pushed the man away advising him that she wanted no part of his advances. The woman then grabbed her clothing and left the area on foot. The woman was not physically injured as a result of the man's advances.

Investigators were able to identify the suspect and officers arrested him at his residence on June 25, 2011.

Jason NASSR – 31 years of Windsor is charged with one count of Sexual Assault. Investigators believe that there is a possibility that the accused may have contacted and photographed more women in the same fashion. Police are requesting any additional victims who may have been sexually assaulted by the accused to call Windsor Police.

Windsor Police are also reminding the public to confirm credentials of any potential photographers and if meetings are arranged, conduct initial meetings in public places or at legitimate businesses.
