On Thursday August 2, 2012, Brazil team will be playing against USA at Earls Court in London. Both the teams are on top of the group B, now today match will decide who will be the real topper.
The Americans and the Brazilians are the only two unbeaten teams left in Group B and Bulgaria in Group A, still undefeated at these Olympics. After today’s match, that number will decrease by at least one.
The U.S. is ranked fifth in the world and not expected to reach in the top stage. But they have been excellent so far, not dropping a set in either of their two matches. Brazil is the only other team in the men's tournament not to have dropped a set so far.
The U.S. still has the match left to play against Russia in pool play, so an American win does not assure the group title for the defending champions but it would put them at top place with one match to go against the Russians on coming Friday. If Brazil comes out on top, then Brazilians will finish with Serbia and Germany.

Probable USA line-up for match includes: Matt Anderson, Sean Rooney, David Lee, Rich Lambourne, Paul Lotman, Donald Suxho, Reid Priddy, Brian Thornton, Russell Holmes, Clay Stanley, David McKienzie, David Smith
